My Life Story

Past:

I probably would have been born even later if my mom wasn’t impatient about me being an overdue baby. She told me she walked to the hospital to get induced and the doctors performed a c-section to get me out. I spent my early childhood in China, moving back and forth between cities. My favorite memory about the place had to have been the train rides from one town to another.
On my 5th birthday, my mom and I flew from China to New York to be with my dad. We lived around Flushing (yes that’s a real place) for about half a year before permanently moving down to Houston. I feel like it would be really cool if we didn’t move (texas 🤮) but I do appreciate all the friends I’ve made along the way.

Future:

I’m set to graduate from Dulles High School in May 2024 (only a little more than a year left…). Despite all the pain it has put me through, I will miss this time of my life. As for college plans, I’m anticipating two options: if I get into my dream college (uchicago 🤤🤤🤤), I’d move there ASAP to get out of this state and I would major in marketing with a creative writing minor.

(THE CAMPUS IS SO BEAUTIFUL)

If possible, I’d actually want to stay in school for a long time and rack up some extra degrees (history, classics, english, architecture..) if I can get the scholarships for it. My backup plan, unfortunately, would be to stay in state and maybe go to UT Austin and sign up for their abroad programs.

Either way, after college, I want to work in a marketing team for a fun company such as video games, animal shelters, or fashion brands—something that isn’t the traditional “sit in a cubicle with a bunch of corporate slaves” type of work environment. Of course, I would also pursue my side career of being a writer :). Moving on to the topic of marriage, I honestly already have a whole plan in mind. Meet someone by the age of 21, date for at least 4 years, and get married after a one year engagement. Tbh I already have a whole powerpoint ready about the wedding planning. To make things short, I want a mix of boho but also royal aesthetic type of vibe centered around lilies, preferably during spring. I want to incorporate a lot of nature, such as succulent wedding favors and environmentally friendly confetti, etc.

After marriage, I think I want to wait until I’m like 30 to have kids because I want to enjoy the little youth I have left before becoming a mom. I would want 2 kids because being an only child sucks (I’m the prime example). If it’s a boy then I’ll name it Astor (idk how to name boys) and if its a girl then I’ll name it Aurelia (I love this name). If I actually become rich, I’d probably retire early at like 40. From then, I’d travel the world and be known as the cool rich aunt. Once I reach a really old age (60 probably) I’ll move to Switzerland and buy a cottage on the Alps, garden a little, and foster some animals.

(literally look at how picturesque this is…)

As for death, I honestly don’t think I will die naturally. I just have a sense that the world is going to end as I die (global warming, maybe an asteroid?).
